Our Midtown Manhattan office occupies about 10,000 square feet on the ninth floor of 800 Second Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Streets. It is the larger of our two locations and the one where most of our office-based procedures take place. If you work in Midtown, commute through Grand Central or live on the East Side, it is usually the more convenient office to reach.
What is at this office
The floor is set up so that most of what a visit requires happens under one roof. We have a lab on site, so blood and urine samples are collected during your appointment and many results come back the same day rather than days later. Ultrasound and EKG are done in the office as well. If your physician wants to look at your kidneys, bladder, uterus, veins or heart rhythm, that usually happens in the same visit instead of at a separate imaging appointment.
The office also houses an accredited office-based surgery center, and that is central to how we practice. Many procedures that were traditionally scheduled in a hospital, including vasectomy, cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, prostate procedures and vein treatments, can be done here safely with the right setup. Doing them in the office means no hospital facility fee, a shorter day and going home the same afternoon. Cases that need deeper sedation are done with a separate anesthesiologist managing the anesthesia while your surgeon operates. When a procedure genuinely belongs in a hospital, we say so and arrange it.
Specialties seen here
Our urology, gynecology, internal medicine and vascular teams see patients here; call to confirm a specific physician's schedule. Urology and men's health cover the full range from an enlarged prostate and kidney stones to sexual health and fertility. Women's health includes annual care, menopause, fibroids, contraception and office gynecologic procedures. Internal medicine handles physicals, chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes, and cardiology testing including echocardiogram and stress testing.
The interventional radiology program is based here. That includes prostate artery embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, varicocele embolization, vein treatment and hemorrhoid embolization, all done through a pinhole entry point without a hospital stay. The medical spa, travel medicine, weight loss, longevity medicine and concierge services are offered here as well.
Because these specialties share one medical record and one phone number, a referral from one of our physicians to another is an internal handoff rather than a new intake. A patient who comes in for a urinary problem and turns out to need a cardiac workup does not leave with a list of outside phone numbers.
Booking a visit
Same-week appointments are usually available, and we see walk-ins and same-day visits when the schedule allows. Call (212) 991-9991 during office hours or request an appointment online at any time and we will confirm by phone. Most major insurance plans are accepted. Participation can vary by physician, so it is worth checking your coverage with the front desk when you book.
If this is your first visit, the new patient guide explains what to bring and what to expect, and our patient forms can be completed before you arrive. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early. Many follow-ups and results reviews can be done by telehealth if coming into Midtown is inconvenient.
Getting here
The office is a short walk from Grand Central Terminal, served by the 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains, and from the 42nd Street crosstown bus lines. The United Nations is a few blocks south and east. Commercial parking garages are available in the surrounding blocks, but street parking is scarce, so most patients find transit easier. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; for Saturday or Sunday availability, call the office.
Our other location is in Forest Hills, Queens, where the practice began. Your record follows you between the two, so you can be seen at whichever office is more convenient on a given day.
Questions patients ask
Where exactly is the Manhattan office?
We are at 800 Second Avenue, 9th Floor, Suite C, between 42nd and 43rd Streets in Midtown East, New York, NY 10017. Take the elevator to the ninth floor and check in at the front desk. If you have trouble finding the building, call (212) 991-9991 and the front desk will guide you.
Can I get lab work, ultrasound and an EKG done at this office?
Yes. The Manhattan office has a lab, ultrasound and EKG on site, so most testing your physician orders is done during the same visit rather than at a separate appointment elsewhere. Many lab results come back quickly, and your physician reviews imaging and EKG findings with you before you leave when possible.
Which doctors see patients in Manhattan?

We see walk-ins and same-day visits when the schedule allows, and same-week appointments are usually available. Calling ahead, even the same morning, is the surest way to be seen quickly. You can also book online at any hour through our appointment page and we will confirm by phone.
